Project Overview: Multi-faceted puppetry for Woander’s immersive theatrical production The Wylding Woods, an interactive woodland experience for children. Responsibilities spanned live theatrical performances, community promotional events, and professional video content creation.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Performed multiple characters including Barnaby and the Eyes of Green Heart across numerous performances in Mill Valley’s woodland setting
- Completed one month intensive rehearsal period prior to production run (October 11 – November 9, 2025)
- Delivered walk-around puppet performances and full interactive puppet shows at Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival (September 23, 2025)
- Engaged directly with young audiences in immersive woodland performances which required intensive improvisational skills particularly with the barnaby puppet
Promotional & Marketing Work:
- Performed Barnaby puppet at Mill Valley’s Trunk or Treat community event to promote the production (October 25, 2025)
- Recorded promotional advertisement video in professional recording studio with monitors, performing Barnaby puppet for marketing campaign (January 10, 2026)
- Represented the production through in-person promotional appearances and digital media content
- Contributed to both grassroots community outreach and professional video marketing materials
